Pardon the innuendo… it wasn’t mine. I just borrowed it from the guy in the video! I’ve always got my eye out for entertaining videos on the web. I remember seeing this a long time ago and just recently stumbled across it. I laughed again – so I figured I’d share.
Sit back and enjoy eye candy for a few minutes and put a smile on your face. Laugh a little… it’s healthy for you.
The real question is if that was real skill or just a little showmanship trickery. What say you? Regardless, it takes mad skills to juggle those balls upside down bouncing them off the piano with the right rhythm to play the song properly. Props to him!
Lastly if you feel inclined to share this blog post with friends on your favorite social media site I’d be honored.
I’m a 31 year old man and I can’t believe I’m about to admit this to the public on my blog… but I really like Miley Cyrus’ single “Party in the USA”. (Did I really just admit to that?!!) Oh well. It’s out there. There’s something about it that’s just a cool pick me upper.
So I was checking out http://stufftotweet.com the other day and this video was in the top 10 most popular. Yes, I clicked on it thinking I would listen to my secret indulgence, but what I found actually surprised me a bit. I’ve never heard of the artist that put this together even though it appears she’s a comedian by trade. Check out her YouTube channel for her other works: http://www.youtube.com/user/BrittaniLouiseTaylor
My mother passed away two years ago (28 Aug 07) and she dealt with issues of depression and attempted suicide throughout her adult life because of the abuse she suffered as a child. That’s another story for another blog post, but needless to say this video caused me to reflect on the serious issues that people deal with on a daily basis. Other than cancer, she struggled with all of the other issues shown in this video.
Maybe I felt inspired to share this because today is Sunday and I had a great day worshiping at church and spending the afternoon and evening with my little family. Maybe it was because I have been reflecting on my mother’s courageous life and thinking how much I miss her. Whatever the reason I hope you enjoy the song as much as I did. It has a great message of overcoming adversity through hope.
In comparison to some my life has been a cake walk. Not to say it’s been all roses though. I’ve experienced pain, rejection, failure, etc. Through all of those various experiences though I’ve always said to myself “Everything is gonna be OK!” So when I heard this song it just reminded me once again that everything is truly going to be OK.
Regardless if you are struggling with an difficult circumstance in life or not – smile! Here’s a warm hug from me to you.
Thanks to Brittani Louise Taylor for performing this beautiful song. Well done. As for my mom, I know she’s watching over me. I love ya mom…
I’d love to hear from you about what you thought of this video. Feel free to Retweet and share with any and all of your favorite social media sites. Have a great day.
Wow, this was a real shocker when I first saw it and wanted to share with everyone.
Something that I have learned is life is that we act according to what our perspective is. I can picture two people (one at two feet from the picture and the other at 30 feet from the picture) arguing to the bitter end that the subject of the picture is respectively Einstein or Marylin… and they would both be right.
I’ve also learned that if we have enough patience to find out why the other person is seeing something different then our perspective not only enlarges but our vision also expands.
If you liked the object lesson feel free to post a comment and share what you learned as well as ReTweeting etc. Enjoy!
There’s a ton of folks out there screaming that you can’t “pollute” social media with automated processes and tools. I beg to differ. In the short video above I lay out the case for using automation to not only spur conversation, but to ultimately create relationships – the real value to social media like Twitter and Facebook. In the end though, you have to be the judge on this one.
Here’s what I know:
1. I’m a busy entrepreneur and I don’t have all day to sit on social media sites and dink around looking for the right match in order to promote myself, my business, or my products.
2. Social media is HUGE! With Facebook having over 200 Million users world wide (of which 100 Million users log on at least once per day) and Twitter doubling in size every 90 days or so (with a projected 50 Million plus users by Christmas ‘09) you’d have to be a dingbat to NOT jump on and use the services to promote your business.
Here’s a few interesting statistics that I include proof of in the video above. I did a little experiment last week with Twitter. Personally it’s my favorite because it’s so easy to use and it has an insane potential for mass exposure even if you don’t have a single follower. On Sunday August 2, 2009 I started promoting my blog that you’re currently reading. By Monday afternoon I knew it was working but I didn’t know how good! Consider the following results:
-3,697.39% increase in traffic to my www.twitterprodigy.com
-215.18% increase in traffic to www.globalwealthrevealed.com
-Over 80 comments were left on the blog regarding the content posted
-My tweets were retweeted countless times by hundreds of other Twitter users
-I got over 100 opt-ins to another site of mine that promotes a big ticket business opportunity – without pushing traffic directly to it and without paying a single penny to Google for PPC. Normally I pay $1.97 per click with my keywords for that campaign.
That’s right! My traffic on this very blog went from around 20-40 visits per day to over 1,100 per day in just two days! Compared to some sites that’s just chicken scratch I know, but for me going from almost no traffic to a lot of traffic on this site blew my mind! What’s even better is that it’s FREE! The real question is how did I do it?
In the following blog posts (linked below) I’ll show you exactly how I did it and what tools I used to get it done. Think you could benefit from that knowledge? Then read on my Tweeps!
One of the most tedious things about Twitter (and all social networks for that matter) is the finding and adding of targeted and niche followers and friends. These are people that are going to be the audience for whatever you’re promoting.
That could be yourself, your company, a website or a product, maybe even a non-profit cause or organization like a church or charity. With social media it’s about quality, not quantity. I’d prefer 80% of a group of 7000 people be really interested in what I’m tweeting about than 1% of a 30,000 person group be interested. Quantity doesn’t always win out, but when push comes to shove I’m not going to reject a six or seven figure following! LOL.
So the question is how do you identify a targeted audience in whatever your niche is and automate the following and unfollowing process?
This video report not only explains how that’s done, but also shows you step by step how Tweet Adder software can take over that process on a daily basis for you. Check it out. I think you’ll see as I did how powerful this software is.

So you have a Twitter profile! Congratulations! Now what are you going to do with it? In my opinion Twitter is an amazing tool. A tool that has the potential to drive massive amounts of FREE traffic to something – a website, a blog, a landing page, a webinar/teleseminar, etc. So allow me to ask the question again.
Now that you have a twitter profile what are you doing with it?
Did you know that over 60% of everyone that signs up for a Twitter account today will send only one tweet and then never log back onto Twitter? According to a Nielson Wire study there’s exponential growth with Twitter, but not without it’s challenges:
When I first read that report a month or two ago the first thought that entered my mind was “They leave because they don’t see the benefit of Twitter to them personally or to their business. To many people just see it as a stupid waste of time.”
That was a sobering thought, because I’ve already demonstrated how I used Twitter exclusively to increase site traffic to this blog by over 3,697.39% in one week alone!
What I find is that most people still don’t see the direct correlation of how to get their Twitter followers to another source of information about them or their business – such as a website or blog.
If that’s where you find yourself I’ve got great news for you! That’s the easy part! The video above demonstrates one of the ways I direct traffic to this blog. It’s my primary method in fact.
It’s 100% automated so all I have to do is put a minimal amount of time and effort to set up the software because once I click start I just forget about it for the week. It’s that simple and that powerful.

This is why I absolutely love Twitter. I have been tweeting another #inspirational clip regarding the Dick and Rick Hoyt (here on my blog) and I had a lovely woman respond saying this was also inspiring. So I checked it out and decided to post it here on my blog because it was that good!
Here’s what I thought about while watching this clip:
1. You can do just about anything if you don’t limit yourself.
2. One important but not necessary factor in that are the people around you who either encourage you or try to place limits on you. Therefore, surround yourself with good people who will buoy you up when adversity strikes.
3. We each have the choice to either be a victim of circumstances and tragedy or be a hero and overcome the obstacles placed in our path.
4. The human ability to adapt and thrive is amazing!
Alright, there were a ton of other things that I really liked about this young man and how he has overcome his inability to use his physical sense of sight, but I’d love to get your feedback on how this story has touched you. Go out and conquer your world!
I don’t know if any of you out there have worked construction before, but this was an amazing video! This guy must have been moonlighting as a circus juggler or something to be able to pull this one off. How he threw the hammers five feet above his head and pounded in those nails I’ll never know! I have trouble just “not” hitting my fingers, much less having to dodge falling hammers coming straight at my face!
So just out of sheer amazement I had to post this! What do you guys think? Pretty amazing huh? Make sure to leave a quick comment below.
***If you liked the video simply Retweet what I sent to you or click on the first or second icon down below to easily share on Twitter or Facebook! Thanks tweeps!
…But not as good as the original one for so many reasons. I could dissect why I think the original was much better, but let’s just say over 13 MILLION views in about a week is pretty hard to top. Still, the question begs to be answered. Why is this video just funny and entertaining and the original is just so much better?
For those who have no idea what I’m talking about let me shed a little light on the subject of “JK Wedding” video on YouTube. When I first saw the video and published it on my blog there were only about 5,000 views on this video and today (07/31/09) there are well over 13 Million views.
For starters I didn’t bust out in spontaneous dance, nor did I have a cheesy grin from ear to ear while watching. Last but not least (and I can’t believe I’m admitting this on the world wide web for all posterity to read) but I didn’t shed a tear watching a surprisingly spunky celebration and exhibit of joy like on the original video.
I can think of a few movies that were far better on the remake (”The Incredible Hulk” for instance), but while this video was clever and even funny it just didn’t have the umph that the original JK Wedding had. What do you think?
A friend just showed me this video last night as we were upgrading operating systems on another computer. It was so good I just had to share!
I love humor – especially when it’s used to shed light on real life situations. To laugh at one’s self and be able to then improve is an amazing concept and so I sincerely appreciate presenters such as Mark Gungor.
I found myself agreeing with his assessment of the “Nothing Box”. I’m a man, a husband, and father of four small children from 6 years down to 2 months old. I love my family very much, but occasionally I find myself stressed out with the demands of life and I go to my nothing box place. Now I can finally show my wife this video to explain that behavior that we have called “cave time” up to this point!
So ladies – when you ask your significant other “What’s on your mind?” and they respond with the age old “NOTHING”, just understand they are probably unwinding. It’s not that we men don’t love you and hate talking to you… it’s just that we are in our brain checking out the “NOTHING BOX”.
