This is by far one of the most powerful examples of the power of the human will as well as one of the most inspirational stories I have ever seen. Whenever I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed I refer to the giant examples of Dick and Rick Hoyt. It’s such a motivation to see their desire to achieve success in all areas of life.
The biggest lesson for me in this is: “I CAN”
I can be a better person.
I can be a better father.

This video is proof that anything in life is possible.
i have seen this video several times and it still touches my emotions so much that it gives me goose bumps. This is truly an inspiring real life story of a father’s love to his son, the very same way our Heavenly Father loves us His children but i believe far greater love than this. thank you for sharing this inspiring video.

I have seen the story about these two before – but as someone said before – it still gives me chills, it still makes me cry and it still gives me hope that I can be even half that to my children…what an inspiration – what an example. What love.

There are many reasons for women protecting their babies from conception to birth. The swine flu vaccine will harm unborn fetuses with dangerous chemicals and bacteria. Is it worth the risk? Let babies be born normal and without complications. I applaud the spirit of this man and his son…..champions and true heroes.
Dick, you are truly a hero in my eyes…..I salute you for being the man that you are in loving your son unconditionally. Our son is disabled with CP and we like you dedicate our life for him.
