This is why I absolutely love Twitter. I have been tweeting another #inspirational clip regarding the Dick and Rick Hoyt (here on my blog) and I had a lovely woman respond saying this was also inspiring. So I checked it out and decided to post it here on my blog because it was that good!
Here’s what I thought about while watching this clip:
1. You can do just about anything if you don’t limit yourself.
2. One important but not necessary factor in that are the people around you who either encourage you or try to place limits on you. Therefore, surround yourself with good people who will buoy you up when adversity strikes.
3. We each have the choice to either be a victim of circumstances and tragedy or be a hero and overcome the obstacles placed in our path.
4. The human ability to adapt and thrive is amazing!
Alright, there were a ton of other things that I really liked about this young man and how he has overcome his inability to use his physical sense of sight, but I’d love to get your feedback on how this story has touched you. Go out and conquer your world!

What an amazing story. I’ve seen and heard lots of stories about people making up for “disabilities” in many ways but this one is in a class by itself.
Nice article, keep in touch, i’ll see you back on Twitter, k.

This is a great story, anyone interested should watch TLC, they did a whole show on Ben. A truly gifted and talented young man.
I really love this and the mum really did a good job too!!!!
That is the proof how much depends on who is caring for a child.
I am very impressed of what this boy has reached. But I admire his mother. Without her, talent boy may have much less chance for development.

Wonderful. If we do not take life to its fullest ourselves then we are lost with regards thriving….How much more survivors do or live life to its fullest when you compare to those who woe me and make excuses…Where theres a will, there is often a way and if not change your goal posts and do something within your reach, its not defeat to do that, defeat is doing nothing… If you cannot change something then take stance to get noticed and help make changes for others in similar position… Smile and the world ’smiles’ with you, and never forget that mile between the two s’….s’ of smiles, they’re your goal posts of productivity and acheivement! No one ever promised us life would be rosie, they can’t, they don’t know…we painted that picture ourselves and so when things don’t go to plan, maybe we question who drew the plan up in the first place and was it right to do so? Strike out and find your direction, be inspired…
Nothing beats a great inspirational story to warm the soul! Double thumbs up for posting the video and Tweeting it.
By the way, awesome theme! I saw it but couldn’t pull the trigger to use it. I’m glad someone’s making good use of it!
Rock on!

Hi!,
Thanks for tweeting that story. I think that is the most amazing thing I have ever heard. Even understanding the concept of the sounds bouncing off of objects, I still can’t explain how he is able to determine what the objects are. It’s worth being on Twitter to be able to receive information like this. I look forward to more inspirational stories.
Thanks,

This video is really inspirational. You did good to put this video on your blog.
I did see this teenager with his mother in an Oprah show.
Mind you that I live in Europe.
I’ll tell my virtual friends to come and watch this video on your blog.
I can do it by RT’ing your link to this blog, on twitter.
I also like the way you have your opt-in at the bottom of your screen. Ihaven’t see it this way before. I like the idea.
WOW! This story in an incredible inspiration to all of us. It’s the proof that there are no limits to what we can achieve if only we set our minds to it. Thanks for sharing this video.
It only takes 1 penny to start a bank, if you believe you can do it!
The best inspiration for the day. Keep posting & Tweeting @skashliwal
Is this real? idk
Yes it’s real. I checked out a few other sites before posting it and this young man and his family are highlighted on other credible shows as well. He’s pretty amazing.
Thanks for the thoughtful comment Deana. I try to make my blog entertaining, inspiring, and useful to those who visit. The opt in at the bottom doesn’t bug people and at the same time gives them a very direct path to take. Thanks for referring to you online buddies. Take care.
