(Print out the picture and look at it at arms length. Then have someone hold it so you can walk 30-40 feet away and look at it again!)

Wow, this was a real shocker when I first saw it and wanted to share with everyone.

Something that I have learned is life is that we act according to what our perspective is. I can picture two people (one at two feet from the picture and the other at 30 feet from the picture) arguing to the bitter end that the subject of the picture is respectively Einstein or Marylin… and they would both be right.

I’ve also learned that if we have enough patience to find out why the other person is seeing something different then our perspective not only enlarges but our vision also expands.

If you liked the object lesson feel free to post a comment and share what you learned as well as ReTweeting etc. Enjoy!

Very nice, Man becomes Woman!

Ahhh, perspective! Things are not always what they seem. Especially in advertising/marketing.

Freaky! Nice one dude! I’ve seen this before but it gets me every time. We’ll speak soon dude. Ciao!

Hey Gabe,

That picture reminds me of the phrase: “You can’t judge a book by it’s cover”. Pretty Cool.

Talk to you soon!

Tony

What a nice topci and effect. Well done.

Wow, what an impressive blog!

Super pro and from what I hear the tweet adder is the best out there “from what I hear.” I’m excited to learn the true power of this program.

BRILLIANT GRAPHIC!!!

Being nearsighted, i is easier for me. All I have to do is lean back, raise my glasses, and Hello Marilyn.

Astonishing perspective. Enjoyed that one.:-)
Liz Welch.

Yeah, very cool. I love tools that help people expand their awareness like this.

“I’ve also learned that if we have enough patience to find out why the other person is seeing something different then our perspective not only enlarges but our vision also expands. ”

Perfectly said.

Wow, that was pretty crazy! Yes it
IS so important to always try to see things from more than one perspective, it REALLY DOES open your eyes, and reminds you that not everyone sees things the same way:) Thanks for sharing!

Kinda reminds me of how & why Chris Angel is able to do suck freaky and amazing magic tricks. The eyes will see what they mind tells it too eh? – Neil

Looks like you know what to do and how :) You are marked one. Thanks and be luck with you forever.

Dear God Marilyn!!!
What a horrible way to age.
lol

I just love your page! It is FABULOUS!!!!

Great example, I love how perspective is subgective not objective just like Einsitein said that reality is subjective not objective and that realy bothered him.

Your blog rocks. here’s my favorite quote. i think you will appreciate it.. :)

Light travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak…

sight rarely speaks louder than words until you see a pic like this…. then you get smacked in the face!

Thanks! :)

Ahhhh, perspective, something we all, especially me, could do with a lot more of!

Cool object lesson.

In this picture, we can see how our perception is subjective… in psichology we have Gestalt Terapy, The New Look in Perception to show us how our perception works… We are singles, uniques, including the way we see the world.
