Well, that’s a long answer for another day. In short, my name is Gabriel Joseph. I created this blog because I was going through an intense (and I mean an insanely intense) few week self imposed crash course on social media. I’ve never really seen the value in social media from a business standpoint. Sure, I have a Facebook profile and a Twitter profile, but that’s just really for fun to say hi to my friends and such. But from a business standpoint I always thought “Social Media Marketing” was a) a joke and b) a friggin waste of time!

I mainly promote a big ticket affiliate business opportunity and have been experiencing tons of great success lately. It’s weird that the worse off the economy gets the better my business does… But in my endless pursuit to get more traffic to my sites and simultaneously drive my costs lower (IE more profit at the end of the month) I kept coming back to social media – specifically Twitter.

It was kind of like a self inflicted abusive relationship though as I spent countless hours in front of the computer trying to figure it all out. So the point is that eventually I saw how to automate most of the process for growing your following with Twitter and getting in front of the people that could potentially turn into paying customers. But just pushing offer on top of offer via tweets seemed to really turn people off, and that’s not what I’m all about.

So I created the blog. It’s a great way to interact with folks (like you) in a very informal way. I included content about Twitter for sure, but I’m enjoying the process of actually sharing things other than marketing and making money. I’ve created various categories and have been adding tons of content. Random content at that – such as comical videos, inspirational stories that have touched me, etc. When I see something I like I just add it as another post.
