Playing The Piano With His Balls!

Pardon the innuendo… it wasn’t mine. I just borrowed it from the guy in the video! I’ve always got my eye out for entertaining videos on the web. I remember seeing this a long time ago and just recently stumbled across it. I laughed again – so I figured I’d share.

Sit back and enjoy eye candy for a few minutes and put a smile on your face. Laugh a little… it’s healthy for you.

The real question is if that was real skill or just a little showmanship trickery. What say you? Regardless, it takes mad skills to juggle those balls upside down bouncing them off the piano with the right rhythm to play the song properly. Props to him!

Lastly if you feel inclined to share this blog post with friends on your favorite social media site I’d be honored.

Automation: Social Media’s Cardinal Sin Or Saving Grace? (Part 1 of 3)

Posted in All Things Twitter, Making Money

There’s a ton of folks out there screaming that you can’t “pollute” social media with automated processes and tools. I beg to differ. In the short video above I lay out the case for using automation to not only spur conversation, but to ultimately create relationships – the real value to social media like Twitter and Facebook. In the end though, you have to be the judge on this one.

Here’s what I know:

1. I’m a busy entrepreneur and I don’t have all day to sit on social media sites and dink around looking for the right match in order to promote myself, my business, or my products.

2. Social media is HUGE! With Facebook having over 200 Million users world wide (of which 100 Million users log on at least once per day) and Twitter doubling in size every 90 days or so (with a projected 50 Million plus users by Christmas ‘09) you’d have to be a dingbat to NOT jump on and use the services to promote your business.

Here’s a few interesting statistics that I include proof of in the video above. I did a little experiment last week with Twitter. Personally it’s my favorite because it’s so easy to use and it has an insane potential for mass exposure even if you don’t have a single follower. On Sunday August 2, 2009 I started promoting my blog that you’re currently reading. By Monday afternoon I knew it was working but I didn’t know how good! Consider the following results:

-3,697.39% increase in traffic to my www.twitterprodigy.com

-215.18% increase in traffic to www.globalwealthrevealed.com

-Over 80 comments were left on the blog regarding the content posted

-My tweets were retweeted countless times by hundreds of other Twitter users

-I got over 100 opt-ins to another site of mine that promotes a big ticket business opportunity – without pushing traffic directly to it and without paying a single penny to Google for PPC. Normally I pay $1.97 per click with my keywords for that campaign.

That’s right! My traffic on this very blog went from around 20-40 visits per day to over 1,100 per day in just two days! Compared to some sites that’s just chicken scratch I know, but for me going from almost no traffic to a lot of traffic on this site blew my mind! What’s even better is that it’s FREE! The real question is how did I do it?

In the following blog posts (linked below) I’ll show you exactly how I did it and what tools I used to get it done. Think you could benefit from that knowledge? Then read on my Tweeps!

Automation: Social Media’s Cardinal Sin Or Saving Grace? (Part 2 of 3)

One of the most tedious things about Twitter (and all social networks for that matter) is the finding and adding of targeted and niche followers and friends. These are people that are going to be the audience for whatever you’re promoting.

That could be yourself, your company, a website or a product, maybe even a non-profit cause or organization like a church or charity. With social media it’s about quality, not quantity. I’d prefer 80% of a group of 7000 people be really interested in what I’m tweeting about than 1% of a 30,000 person group be interested. Quantity doesn’t always win out, but when push comes to shove I’m not going to reject a six or seven figure following! LOL.

So the question is how do you identify a targeted audience in whatever your niche is and automate the following and unfollowing process?

This video report not only explains how that’s done, but also shows you step by step how Tweet Adder software can take over that process on a daily basis for you. Check it out. I think you’ll see as I did how powerful this software is.

So you have a Twitter profile! Congratulations! Now what are you going to do with it? In my opinion Twitter is an amazing tool. A tool that has the potential to drive massive amounts of FREE traffic to something – a website, a blog, a landing page, a webinar/teleseminar, etc. So allow me to ask the question again.

Now that you have a twitter profile what are you doing with it?

Did you know that over 60% of everyone that signs up for a Twitter account today will send only one tweet and then never log back onto Twitter? According to a Nielson Wire study there’s exponential growth with Twitter, but not without it’s challenges:

Check out the full Nielson Wire study here.

When I first read that report a month or two ago the first thought that entered my mind was “They leave because they don’t see the benefit of Twitter to them personally or to their business. To many people just see it as a stupid waste of time.”

That was a sobering thought, because I’ve already demonstrated how I used Twitter exclusively to increase site traffic to this blog by over 3,697.39% in one week alone!

What I find is that most people still don’t see the direct correlation of how to get their Twitter followers to another source of information about them or their business – such as a website or blog.

If that’s where you find yourself I’ve got great news for you! That’s the easy part! The video above demonstrates one of the ways I direct traffic to this blog. It’s my primary method in fact.

It’s 100% automated so all I have to do is put a minimal amount of time and effort to set up the software because once I click start I just forget about it for the week. It’s that simple and that powerful.

For more information about this software including pricing, just click on the yellow Twitter Bird icon to the right of the video above or on the link below. Enjoy!

Check out my 3 part video series where I show VIDEO PROOF on how I increased visitor traffic to this blog by over 3600% in ONE WEEK!

It’s no secret that Twitter is growing by leaps and bounds each day. Just turn on the TV, read the newspaper, or listen to the radio and all you hear about is “Follow me on Twitter” from all of the announcers. Hmmmmmmm, coincidence? I don’t think so.

Twitter is doubling in size every 90 right now and it’s estimated that by Christmas of 2009 there will be over 50 Million users. We’re at the VERY beginning of the Twitter wave ladies and gentlemen. There are a ton of different ways you can use this cool and simple little application. In the video above you are seeing only one of the ways I use Twitter. I happen to like the fact that it’s:

a) FREE traffic to my blog and other landing pages
b) Very effective at list building
c) $1000 commissions per sale for this particular product

In this crazy economical recession we find ourselves in, people are turning in droves to the internet to find an alternative to the once coveted “job security”. Most people are recognizing that the only security they have is themselves.

So take a chance… opt in and find out what this is all about. There’s no risk to you. I’m a real person and I really answer my own phone. In fact I included that number on the next page if you have any questions you would like to discuss.

Handling A Twitter Slap – Ouch!

Posted in All Things Twitter

0

Many individuals are easily convinced to sign up with Twitter because it is a great place to meet different kinds of people. You can also interact with them 24/7. Twitter is similar to Facebook and MySpace in the fact that it already has millions of users worldwide.

When someone follows you in Twitter, it’s proper etiquette to follow them back; but that remains a personal choice. If you follow proper etiquette, you will learn to appreciate them as you use Twitter more and more. The site also provides a tool which allows you to thank all those who followed you so that you don’t have to do it individually. It is your choice to follow people that catch your interest but you don’t need to expect something in return. Others may simply ignore you because they are not obliged to follow you and you can also do the same.

If you’re an avid Tweeter, you will know what the numbers on the right corner standsfor. The three number sets represent the number of followers, the number of following, and the updates. You can post as many times as you like everyday and can follow as many people as you want. However, there is an exception.

As a Twitter user, you should pay close attention to the numbers on the right corner. For instance, when you’re following 2,000 people, a certain number of people should follow you back. Otherwise, you can’t follow any more Twitter users.

When you’ve followed 2,000 people, you can no longer follow more unless you’ve met the appropriate number of followers thus maintaining the ratio of following to followers. Even if you try over and over again, your request will not be activated. This is the so called Twitter Slap. It’s similar to the Google Slap (if you don’t adhere to the rules of Google, you will be punished with a slap) but this isn’t a serious problem.

One way to resolve this problem is to find out why some individuals don’t follow you back. You can use tools like friendorfollow.com and twitoria.com; the former can provide you with a complete list of those who did not follow you back and the latter will provide you with a list of those you followed but did not post for some time.

Try the sites mentioned so you can easily decide who to ‘un-follow’. The most simple solution to this is to flat out un-follow everyone not following you back. Problem solved.

When you send a request to follow someone and it is not activated, it only means one thing – you’re Twitter slapped. Don’t worry because you can easily address this problem. When you know the options available to you, you will not encounter any difficulty.

It’s really a good feeling to follow many people on Twitter but it feels better when they follow you back. Making more friends and staying connected 24/7 is possible through Twitter. Sign up now and enjoy the Twitter experience. It’s free after all.

If you want to promote your business, you can as well but remember that no one like a spammer. Just have fun with it.

Gathering Clients Through Twitter

Posted in All Things Twitter

Twitter was launched in 2006 and in the past few years, has experienced extreme growth. In fact, in February 2009, the site ranked third next to MySpace and Facebook. Many business owners are now utilizing the site to promote their business. However, a lot of them don’t know how to maximize the site to their advantage.

For the new Twitter user who’s also a business owner, here are great tips for you:

You can use the site for your market research. Every business has its target market. Through Twitter, you can easily access your target market and get useful feedbacks from them. Many business owners today fail because they don’t know the true needs of their market. With the help of the social network site, you can easily listen to the needs of your prospects, the issues they are currently facing and the kind of help they want.

These pieces of information are vital to your business. You can create blog posts or write articles about the needs of the market. You can also create a new service to meet such needs or perhaps you can conduct a tele-seminar on a topic that might interest the target market.

Build a list. Once you have your list, you can share your information like newsletter and free gifts. You don’t need to promote your business every time you communicate with your target market. Mention it every now and then.

Provide an offer wrapped in content. Give valuable content that’s useful to your target market and when they need what you have to offer they’ll buy.

Whenever you meet someone on the site, try to establish a good relationship. You are a customer too. You buy from people who you trust and like. Your target market also behaves the same way. You must get to know your clients better and win their trust and confidence. Ninety percent of your updates or tweets should contain helpful contents and try to limit your promotion. By doing so, you can attract more prospects and later on, subscribers.

Learn how to create blogs. In order to show your expertise in the business, you need to post good blogs. Twitter provides tools that can automatically check the blogs you’ve posted and share them to your target market.

Offer tele-seminars and events. In order to increase the number of prospects on your list, you should send out invitations for tele-seminars and events. The more people you invite, the more you can promote your business.

You must create your own twitter account first before you can use the site for business purposes. Creating a profile page for your business is the first task that you should accomplish. Once you have your own account, you can let other users of Twitter know about your business. The twitter question that you need to answer is – what are you doing? You must answer this question so that you can let the world know about your business. After that, you can now follow the helpful tips mentioned earlier.

Studying the target market is very important for your business success. Identify their needs and wants so that you can give the right answer. Remember, you must try to build trust and confidence. Twitter has millions of users from all over the world. Just imagine how many of them you can get to patronize your business. Gathering clients through Twitter is not as difficult as you think.

Please feel free to leave a comment on how you are using Twitter to gather clients. I’d love to hear about it.

Common Mistakes on Twitter

Posted in All Things Twitter

0

Twitter is an exciting, cool, and extremely profitable social network site. Millions of people are now using the site to talk about various subjects. Indeed, it is a micro-blogging site for those who can’t stop talking. There are also common mistakes that most new users commit on Twitter. Before you start sending tweets, you must be aware of these common mistakes.

Mistake number 1 – the picture on your avatar is not yours. Most new users don’t post their real picture. They often use cartoon pictures, company logos, or their pet’s pictures. Although the pictures are quite cute, most Twitter users will appreciate a real picture of you. When you post your true picture on Avatar, others will think that you’re real and that you’re confident enough to let others see you. If you’re going to upload a photo, choose the ones where you give a beautiful smile. A smile can easily brighten the day of others.

Sending direct messages automatically are often impersonal and pushy (although if done properly and in good taste can gain you HUGE exposure). TweetLater is a great tool that sends automatic messages. When you use this tool, messages are automatically sent to those who follow you. A message saying ‘thanks for following me’ is fine but sending automated messages promoting your business or product in a pushy or tasteless way is not a good idea and most people will just frown at them.

If you want to have followers, you need to follow people and at least create an interesting profile page. There are a bunch of free backgrounds you can load directly to your profile to spiff it up. It’s fast and easy. A great site that I found is TwitterBackgrounds. You will get and keep followers by regularly posting updates. If you keep on following people and yet you don’t make updates on your page, you generally won’t get enough followers.

The 140-character tweets should be used to answer the Twitter question. Answering that question once a day may be enough to let others know that you’re interested in the community. You can post what you’re doing for the day or where you plan to go for the night. Tweets are great for starting conversations. You can also re-tweet other users or send them comments.

Check your numbers regularly. It’s not good to follow many people when you have very few individuals following you. Try to achieve balance. Make sure that the one you follow will also follow you back and you should also appreciate the ones who follow you. This is the easiest way to make friends on Twitter. This is more appropriate if you are only wanting to be a casual Twitter user. If you are building Twitter for marketing purposes you will want to follow as many people as possible at first… I’ll go into more detail in another post on this subject though.

You can use tools like Tweetdeck so that you don’t need to stay online all the time. Through this application, you can divide your followers into groups that you can easily track, especially when they send direct messages and replies.

If you keep on promoting your business all the time, everyone will probably just ‘unfollow’ you. No one likes a person who talks about his business or product most of the time. You have to learn to respect others. After all Twitter is a social network.

You must learn how to communicate and build good relationships before you start bombarding them with promotions. Even if you already have a god list of leads, it is still not a good idea to barrage them with promotions. Promotional tweets should be sent in limited numbers only and generally should not be sent to opt in pages or sales pages. Rather, use a blog and case your promotion in education and value.

These are the common mistakes committed by new and old tweeters. You may want to take note of them so you don’t commit the same mistakes.

Have fun tweeting my tweeps! :)
